ELVAX™ 40L-03 Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer

ELVAX™ 40L-03 Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer by Dow is a high molecular weight ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade. It contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer. It is a crystalline, free flowing grade possessing low amounts of gel and does not mass during handling. It provides resistance to mechanical damage and elevated temperatures. It exhibits high flex crack resistance, viscosity, clarity and polarity.

• It is suitable for processing by injection molding, compounding, sheet- & shape extrusion, structural foam molding, blow molding and wire coating.
• It can also be processed using conventional rubber processing techniques such as Banbury, two-roll milling and compression molding.
• It is recommended for sealants, wire jacketing for automotive ignition & low-smoke cables and as strippable semi-conductive shields for power cables and industrial applications.
