ELVALOY™ 4170P Copolymer by Dow is a reactive elastomeric terpolymer (RET). It is a low volatile version of ELVALOY™ 4170 Copolymer. It is used to modify the properties of asphalt used in paving. It provides exceptional rutting resistance, hot/cold temperature performance and can be easily blended into the hot binder, with no high sheer mill required.
- It possesses inherent stripping resistance and offers great fatigue cracking protection.
- It has short mixing time (2-3 hr) and can be stored for several months, eliminating any potential polymer waste.
- ELVALOY™ 4170P Copolymer complies with FDA 21 CFR 175.105, EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE), EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and conforms to CONEG & EU 94/62/EC.
