ELVALOY™ 4170 Copolymer by Dow is a reactive elastomeric terpolymer (RET). It offers exceptional rutting resistance, great fatigue cracking protection and hot- & cold temperature performance. It has inherent stripping resistance and can be easily blended into the hot binder, with no high sheer mill required.
- It is used in asphalt modification for paving, roads, airports and highways with different traffic and weather conditions.
- It has short mixing time (2-3 hr) and can be stored for several months, eliminating any potential polymer waste.
- ELVALOY™ 4170 Copolymer complies with FDA 21 CFR 175.105, EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS), EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE), and conforms to CONEG, EU 94/62/EC.
