DOWLEX™ 2377 by Dow is an ethylene-octene-1 copolymer based polyethylene resin. Is suitable for processing by extrusion. It has a unique molecular structure with a controlled side chain distribution that provides excellent stress crack resistance combined with outstanding long term hydrostatic strength.
  • Provides good flexibility, excellent processability, good chemical resistance, wide operating temperature range, installation flexibility, jointing by welding and long term thermal stability.
  • Exhibits excellent performance at elevated temperatures without the need for crosslinking enabling pipe section to be fused with standard polyethylene welding techniques.
  • DOWLEX™ 2377 by Dow is used in high temperature and large diameter industrial pipe applications like geo thermal pipes, district heating pipes, road cooling and heating pipes, bio-gas storage and management systems, sub-sea risers, swagelining and multi-layer stainless steel pipe.
  • Complies with EN ISO 24033 as a Polyethylene of Raised Temperature Resistance (PE-RT).
