BIOMAX™ SG120 Resin Modifier by Dow is an ethylene terpolymer for polylactic acid (PLA) modification. It is recommended for packaging and industrial applications. It provides impact strength and toughness even in small amounts and allows rapid melt dispersion with single screw extruders. It improves the cutting and trimming of PLA, allowing no edge breakage and improved pinning. It is pelletized for efficient extruder feeding and can be used either separately or as a pellet blend with PLA. BIOMAX™ SG120 Resin Modifier complies with FDA 21 CFR 175.105 & 176.170(c), EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE), EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and conforms to CONEG & EU Directive 94/62/EC.
