AEM is an acrylic ethylene copolymer grade by Clwyd Compounders. Exhibits excellent resistance to transmission fluids, water, glycol mixtures and weak bases. Provides good dynamic properties over a wide temperature range, excellent vibration dampening and excellent ozone resistance. It can be formulated for low flammability and low smoke specifications. AEM is used in automotive sealing applications, including seals for transmission and power steering systems.
