MM228 by CHT Group is a pourable 2-part addition cure silicone rubber containing a platinum catalyst. The rate of cure can be accelerated by heat. It can be diluted with ACC Tampo 50 fluid. Exhibits high tear, good abrasion resistance, good dimensional stability, very low viscosity, excellent physical and electrical properties. Suitable for processing by gravity or pressure injection molding. MM228 can be designed for molding masters, plasters, large objects, chocolate and icing sugar. Possible applications include rapid prototyping, case making in the ceramics industry, manufacture of cornice and tampo print pads.
