SANTOPRENE™ 121-70B230J by Celanese is a soft, black-colored polyolefin-based thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade. Designed for shorter processing time compared to thermoset EPDM rubber. It adheres to TPV over wide range of temperatures.
- It is recyclable within the manufacturing stream and is shear-dependent.
- It shows good UV resistance and low fogging properties.
- SANTOPRENE™ 121-70B230J is suitable for processing by injection-, multi-injection molding.
- It is used to bond with sulphur or peroxide-cured thermoset EPDM rubber for end caps, special fixation and COF enhancement.
- It is specially formulated to replace thermoset EPDM rubber in automotive glass run channel corner molding applications.
