BB2588

Supplied byBorouge- Last Updated on Aug 4, 2025

BB2588 by Borouge is a multimodal high-density polyethylene (HDPE) grade based on the unique Borealis Borstar® multimodal technology. It exhibits high stiffness, superior environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR), excellent organoleptic properties and easy flow.
  • It provides the potential for downgauging, increases top load strength for better stackability and improves chemical resistance for product safety.
  • It offers converters more versatile processability over its predecessor BB2581.
  • It is suitable for recycling using modern methods of shredding and cleaning.
  • BB2588 can be processed using extrusion blow molding.
  • Recommended for use in up to 10 liters size detergents-, cleaners-, motor oils-, cosmetics-, personal care-, household- & industrial chemicals bottles and food packaging for juices & milk.
