Queo™ 8201LA by Borealis is an odorless, ethylene based octene-1 plastomer with low amount of processing stabilizers. It is produced in a solution polymerization process using a metallocene catalyst. Exhibits high clarity, flexibility, outstanding toughness, low temperature impact strength, low amount of extractables, high strength, low dielectric constant, dissipation factor, outstanding puncture- and low temperature flex-cracking resistance. Shows high filler, oil acceptance, bridging of plastic, elastomeric properties, versatile blending with other polyolefins, unrivalled sealing and hot tack properties at low temperature. Designed for processing by injection molding and film extrusion. Queo™ 8201LA is used in flexible films and sound deadening sheets. Complies with EC Regulation 1907/2006.
