Melochem Moulding Compound 791 by BI-QEM is a melamine-formaldehyde resin reinforced with high-class cellulose and modified with special purpose additives, pigments, cure regulators and lubricants. It offers good hardness, glossy surface with excellent scratch and chemical resistance. It provides resistance against surfactants and weak bases. It is recommended for household and foodservice applications including dinnerware, ramekins, ashtrays, jugs, ladles, and bowls. Melochem Moulding Compound 791 is also suitable for the manufacture of retail, commercial and military grade buttons. The molded products can be recycled and exhibit low water absorption properties. It has a shelf life of 6 months.
