Melochem Moulding Compound 751 by BI-QEM is a general purpose melamine formaldehyde resin reinforced with high-class cellulose. It is modified with special purpose additives, pigments, cure regulators and lubricants. It offers good hardness, glossy surface with excellent scratch and chemical resistance. It provides resistance against surfactants and weak bases. It can be processed by compression molding. The molded products can be recycled and exhibit good light stability and low water absorption properties. Melochem Moulding Compound 751 is suitable for household and foodservice applications including dinnerware, ramekins, ashtrays, jugs, ladles and bowls. Its shelf life is of 12 months below 20°C.
