OPPANOL® B 10 N by BASF is a non-polar, chemically inert polyisobutylene containing stabilizer (500 ppm). It is a soft, anti-corrosive, medium molecular weight and mechanically stable grade. Soluble in aliphatic, aromatic, cyclic and halogenated hydrocarbons. Exhibits low-temperature elasticity, good adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces, flexibility at low temperatures and electrical insulation. Offers long-term effective moisture protection. Provides good resistance to oxidative attack, aqueous acids and alkaline solutions. Can be processed by kneaders, roll-mills and single- or twin-screw extruders. Meets the requirements of food contact regulations. Complies with REACH EC Regulation 1907/ 2006. OPPANOL® B 10 N has a shelf life of 2 years.
