BL6 (GM 7255) by Amir Kabir Petrochemical is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE), general-purpose grade with butene-1 as comonomer. It possesses good molding surface finish, high molar mass, very good impact strength, good stiffness and optimum stress cracking resistance (ESCR). It can be stabilized with Ca-Stearate, Irganox1010, HOE Wax PED191 and Irgafox168. BL6 (GM 7255) is recommended for large containers above 5 litres capacity and for the manufacture of semi-finished products.
