BL4 (GM 8255) by Amir Kabir Petrochemical is a general purpose, high density polyethylene (HDPE) with butene-1 as comonomer. Exhibits high molar mass, easy processability, high stiffness and impact strength. Offers good stress cracking resistance (ESCR) and good molding surface finish. It can be stabilized with Ca-Stearate, Irganox1010 and Irgafox168. BL4 (GM 8255) is recommended for for containers from 1 liter to about 500 liters capacity.
