Thermoset Silicone Resin (SI) for Plastic Parts

MasterSil 151Med by Master Bond is a two component, low viscosity, biocompatible silicone compound for high performance potting and encapsulation. It is an addition cured system and does not require exposure to air for complete cross-linking. It has a convenient ten to one mix ratio by weight, contains no solvents and will not outgas while curing.

• It offers flexibility, high temperature & water resistance and superb electrical insulation properties.
• It readily cures at ambient temperatures or faster cure at elevated temperatures and can cure in thicknesses beyond 1 inch.

MasterSil 323AO-LO by Master Bond is a thermally conductive, electrically insulating, two-component silicone for high performance bonding, sealing and gap filling. It exhibits high viscosity, high bond strength, flowability and has a forgiving 1:1 mix ratio by weight. As an addition cured system, unlike a condensation cure, it does not require exposure to air for complete cross-linking.

• It contains no solvents or diluents and has very low shrinkage upon curing.
• It bonds well to a wide variety of substrates such as glass, metals, ceramics, plastics and many rubbers, including silicones.

MasterSil 170 Gel by Master Bond is a two component, low viscosity silicone material for sealing, potting and encapsulation. It is an addition cured system and does not require exposure to air for complete cross-linking. It has a convenient ten to one mix ratio by weight, contains no solvents and will not outgas while curing.

MasterSil 153Med by Master Bond is a low exotherm, two component silicone rubber system. It is a self priming grade and bonds well with silicone rubber. Provides high electrical insulation, low shrinkage, high flexibility, high temperature- and water resistance. Exhibits high tensile lap shear strength and is used for medical applications. It has a shelf life of 6 months. MasterSil 153Med by Master Bond meets RoHS, USP Class VI and ISO 10993-5 specification for Cytotoxicity.

MasterSil 151TC by Master Bond is a low exotherm, two-component silicone rubber system. Offers high flexibility, good flow and low shrinkage benefits. Provides high thermal conductivity, electrical insulation, high temperature- and low thermal resistance. Used for bonding and smaller gap filling. Suitable for electronic components, thermal management and optical applications. The shelf life of MasterSil 151TC by Master Bond is 6 months. Meets RoHS and NASA Low Outgassing specifications.

MasterSil 151S by Master Bond is a silver-filled, two component silicone rubber system. It is a vacuum compatible grade and exhibits good dimensional stability, high elongation, low shrinkage and high flexibility. Provides high electrical conductivity, low outgassing and long working life. Offers high resistance to temperature, mechanical and thermal shocks. Recommended for aerospace, electronic, opto-electronic and OEM applications. It has a shelf life of 3-6 months. MasterSil 151S by Master Bond meets RoHS and NASA Low Outgassing specifications.

LS-6143 by Avantor is a translucent, low viscosity, odorless, optical thermosetting silicone (SI) resin. It is available as two-part 10:1 mix ratio (Part A:B). It is a clear, room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone based on a dimethyl-diphenyl copolymer. Suitable for applications requiring index matching at 1.43 and operating temperature range of -115°C to 260°C. LS-6143 is designed for bonding, casting or injection molding of high performance optical components. Recommended for photonics applications requiring low outgassing and minimal volatile condensables to avoid condensation in sensitive devices.

LS-6941 by Avantor is a transparent, solvent free, low viscosity, optically clear, thermosetting silicone (SI) resin. It is available as two-part 10:1 mix ratio (Part A:B). It can be cured at room temperature or rapidly with heat. Suitable for applications requiring index matching at 1.41 and operating temperature range of -65°C to 240°C. LS-6941 is designed for bonding, casting or injection molding of high performance optical components.

LS-6943 by Avantor is an odorless, transparent, solvent free, low viscosity, optically clear, thermosetting silicone (SI) resin. It is based on a dimethyl diphenyl silicone copolymer. It is available as two-part 10:1 mix ratio (Part A:B). It shows accelerated cure rate with heat. Suitable for applications requiring index matching at 1.43 and operating temperature range of -115°C to 260°C. LS-6943 is designed for bonding, casting or injection molding of high performance optical components.

LS1-6941 by Avantor is a transparent, pourable, optically clear, thermosetting silicone (SI) resin. It is available as two-part 1:1 mix ratio (Part A:B). LS1-6941 can be processed by injection molding and transfer molding. Designed for use in optical components and as an adhesive or encapsulant for applications requiring index matching at 1.41.
