Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) for Plastic Parts

LNP™ THERMOCOMP™ Compound TF002 by SABIC is a compound based on PFAS-free, impact resistant, unspecified, polyurethane (TPU) resin that is filled with 10% glass fiber. This grade is processed by injection molding. It is recommended for consumer applications like sports/leisures, home & commercial appliances. LNP™ THERMOCOMP™ Compound TF002 is suitable for electrical and electronic components such as mobile phones and computers & tablets.

LNP™ STAT-KON™ Compound TX06488 by SABIC is a PFAS-free polyurethane (TPU) resin containing conductive carbon powder. It offers excellent ductility, high impact resistance, and electrical conductivity. It is processed by injection molding. LNP™ STAT-KON™ Compound TX06488 is recommended for electrical, electronic components, material handling and industrial applications.

Elastollan® GripTec 10H by BASF is a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade. It provides enhanced grip, design freedom, and sustainability. It provides excellent durability across diverse conditions and superior mechanical strength.

Tolerathane™ TPU by Lubrizol is a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). It is a thermoplastic alternative to silicone. It offers unparalleled tolerance to harsh biological conditions. Provides superior softness, mechanical resilience and seamless integration into standard thermoplastics processing as compared to currently available TPU materials. Tolerathane™ TPU enables thinner wall designs that support device miniaturization and design flexibility for implantable medical device applications.

ETERNALAST® LD4089A by UBE is a hard, polycarbonate-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). It offers high mechanical- & tear strength and durability.

• It provides good compression set and UV- & thermal stability to oxidation & weatherability.
• It shows excellent resistance to abrasion, thermal, wear, oil, grease and various non polar solvents.
• It can be processed by injection molding and extrusion.
• ETERNALAST® LD4089A is used for producing low-diameter pipes, films and flat profiles.

Desmopan® 5377A by Covestro is an ether/ester based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) block copolymer grade. It provides improved microbial- and hydrolysis resistance.

• It is suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding.
• Desmopan® 5377A is used in textile coating and wristwatch straps.

ETERNALAST® LD4055D by UBE is a hard, polycarbonate-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). It offers high mechanical- & tear strength and durability.

• It provides good compression set and UV- & thermal stability to oxidation & weatherability.
• It shows excellent resistance to abrasion, thermal, wear, oil, grease and various non polar solvents.
• It can be processed by injection molding and extrusion.
• ETERNALAST® LD4055D is used for producing low-diameter pipes, films and flat profiles.

ESTANE® 58315 TPU distributed by Bjørn Thorsen is an aromatic polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade. Exhibits very good physical properties, hydrolysis resistance, low temperature performance and abrasion with a wide processing window for extrusion. Recommended for blown and flat die/cast film extrusion. ESTANE® 58315 TPU is also suitable for injection molding and cable jacketing.
