Liquid Crystal Polymers (LCP) for Plastic Parts

LNP™ STAT-KON™ Compound 9X08403C by SABIC is based on flame retarded liquid crystal polymer (LCP) resin containing carbon fiber. It is based on LNP clean compounding technology. It offers high temperature, electrical conductivity, high heat resistance and good dimensional stability. This grade shows good barrier against water and oxygen. LNP™ STAT-KON™ Compound 9X08403C is processed by injection molding.

Stat-Tech™ LP-30CF-15MN/000 BLACK by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is an electrically conductive, high flow liquid crystal polymer (LCP) resin reinforced with 30% carbon fiber and 15% mineral. It provides high flow and high stiffness. It can be processed by injection molding. Stat-Tech™ LP-30CF-15MN/000 BLACK is recommended for aerospace applications, automotive under the hood, business equipment, electrical/electronic, housing and printer parts application.

VECTRA® A115 by Celanese is a tough, flame retardant liquid crystal polymer (LCP) grade reinforced with 15% glass fiber. It is heat, UV and light stabilized. It exhibits high flow, improved weld line and chemical resistance. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. VECTRA® A115 complies with UL 94 V0 flame rating.

VECTRA® A130 by Celanese is an inherently flame retardant liquid crystal polymer (LCP) grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. It is heat, UV and light stabilized and offers improved weld line. It exhibits excellent balance of properties, including easy flow, processing, thermal stability, chemical resistance, mechanical and electrical properties. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is used for vapor phase surface mount electrical and electronic devices. VECTRA® A130 complies with UL 94 V0 flame rating.

VECTRA® MT1345 VF3001 (natural) by Celanese is a 30% mineral filled, hydrolytically stable, easy flow inherently flame retardant liquid crystal polymer (LCP) grade with low residual monomers and light stabilization.

ZENITE® 15115 by Celanese is a heat stabilized, high flow 15% glass filled liquid crystal polymer (LCP) resin with high temperature capability, excellent balance of properties and processability. ZENITE® 15115 is suitable for processing by injection molding.

VECTRA® MT1310 VF3001 (natural) by Celanese is an easy flow, 30% glass fiber reinforced, inherently flame retardant liquid crystal polymer (LCP) grade with low residual monomers. It shows heat, UV and light stabilization.

VECTRA® MT4310 VF3001 NATURAL by Celanese is an inherently flame retardant, halogen-free, high performance, highly crystalline LCP grade filled with 30% glass. Exhibits very low heat of fusion (short cycle times possible), very high tensile strength & tensile modulus, very low coefficient of thermal expansion (comparable with that of steel & ceramics), very good resistance to chemicals & oxidation, highest temperature capability and easiest flow. VECTRA® MT4310 VF3001 NATURAL can be processed using extrusion and flash-free injection molding. Suitable for eco-friendly thin-wall applications. Used for broad range of SMT applications with minimal dimensional change. Designed for medical technology applications.

VECTRA® MT1335 VF3001 (natural) by Celanese is a glass/PTFE filled, tribologically-modified, easy flow inherently flame retardant liquid crystal polymer (LCP) grade with low residual monomers and light stabilization.
