Optimized balance of stiffness, impact resistance and energy absorption

Developed to combine mechanical performance with low density, XELAMID consists of unfilled, impact-modified grades offering an optimized balance of stiffness, impact resistance and energy absorption.

The XELAMID material portfolio covers a wide range of properties. Depending on the selected grade, performance levels can reach up to:

  • +30% elongation at break

  • 10x impact resistance

  • 600 Mpa flexural modulus

  • 700 Mpa tensile modulus

Thanks to its balanced combination of high mechanical properties, lightness and design flexibility, XELAMID™ is well suited for applications in sports equipment, consumer goods and industrial sectors.

The modular nature of the portfolio provides versatile options for a variety of advanced applications, enabling designers and manufacturers to select grades tailored to specific functional and processing requirements.
