UBE launches polymers under U-BE-INFINITY® brand
Last update on Jan 2, 2026
UBE Corporation announced that it has certified one product under development and one product that is commercially available, under its environmental product brand U-BE-INFINITY®.
There are two certified items: a biomass composite nylon currently under development by UBE, and ISCC PLUS certified polybutadiene products using the ISCC mass balance approach, already being manufactured and sold by THAI SYNTHETIC RUBBERS COMPANY LIMITED, a member of the UBE Group.
The U-BE-INFINITY® brand is given to products in the UBE Group lineup - whether under development or already commercialized - that demonstrate particularly outstanding positive environmental impacts, thereby enhancing their added value. UBE seeks to help solve global environmental issues through the widespread adoption of U-BE-INFINITY® products.

About newly certified items
Biomass composite nylon (product under development)
The biomass composite nylon currently under development is a sustainable material that applies UBE's proprietary composite technologies to plant-derived resins (polyamide 56 and polyamide 510). It delivers performance exceeding that of conventional petroleum-derived materials and can be used in automotive components as well as electrical and electronic parts. By advancing further research and development, UBE aims to contribute to carbon neutrality across a wide range of fields - including construction materials, furniture, and household goods.
ISCC PLUS certified polybutadiene products using the ISCC Mass Balance Approach
These polybutadiene products are linked to ISCC-certified Bio-circular or Circular raw material based on the ISCC PLUS mass balance approach. All polybutadiene products (UBEPOL BR®, UBEPOL VCR®) produced at TSL's Rayong factory, Thailand, are available as the ISCC-certified products that comply with the latest ISCC PLUS requirements and contribute to reducing environmental impact. These products deliver the same quality and properties as conventional products and are therefore interchangeable.
While maintaining the wear resistance, energy loss properties, durability, and processability that conventional products have delivered across various applications - including automotive tires, industrial rubber products, shoe soles, and golf balls - they contribute to addressing global environmental issues.
The UBE Group is focusing its efforts on three of today's major environmental challenges: climate change (carbon neutrality), circular economy, and nature positivity. The Group is promoting the development and practical application of environmentally friendly products and technologies. By providing these solutions to more customers, the Group aims to contribute to solving global environmental issues and fulfill its 2030 vision: "A specialty chemicals company that contributes to the global environment, human health, and an enriched future society."
