SK functional polymer launches copolymer for breathable membranesNew LOTRYL® 40MA05T created by allows a new range of permeability for high breathable membranes. By dilution into it can provide high breathability, good processibility and cost efficiency by replacing copolyamide or copolyester.

Can be easily laminated between two layers of non-woven PP

Due to this good processability LOTRYL® copolymer resins can be easily laminated between two layers of non-woven PP or coated directly on fabric. Breathable LOTRYL® copolymer resins can be extruded into thin films by extrusion coating or extrusion blown process. LOTRYL® copolymer resins could be blended in all proportions to suit a wide range of applications.

That is why SK Functional Polymer has designed a full range of LOTRYL® resins to meet the Housewrap and Roofing Underlayment market needs. Adjustable moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) can be reached by tuning the polymeric composition and/or the coating thickness, as showed in the graph below. For long shelf life and sustainability, excellent liquid and odor barrier, high tear resistance, cost-efficiency, test LOTRYL® EMA resins.
