Polyolefin elastomer with good performance and processability by Borouge International

Last update on Jun 29, 2026

A new polyolefin elastomer (POE) grade designed for TPO compounds, hot melt adhesives (HMA), and highly filled systems is now available for evaluation. Borouge International has introduced Queo™ 7030LA-P, a grade developed to address a known formulation challenge: achieving both flexibility and processing efficiency within a single material profile.

Offers low density and high melt flow

According to the supplier, the POE segment offering low density and high melt flow has historically presented limited choices for demanding compound and blend applications in automotive, construction, and industrial markets. Queo™ 7030LA-P is positioned as a reliable option within that segment.

Developed using advanced solution-phase technology, Queo™ 7030LA-P delivers, according to Borouge International, a balanced profile of softness, flexibility, and flow behavior suited to a range of conversion technologies.

The launch reflects Borouge International’s ongoing commitment to expanding its portfolio with high-performance, customer-focused solutions, supporting a wide range of industries.

Key benefits

  • Enables high‑quality TPO production for automotive, construction, and industrial markets.

  • Excellent low‑temperature impact performance thanks to its highly amorphous structure.

  • Superior flow and bonding behavior in HMA applications due to the 1‑Octene comonomer and high MFR.

  • High filler loading capability while maintaining easy flow and high extrusion output.

  • Reliable alternative in the low‑density, easy‑flow POE segment.

  • Free‑flowing granules with talc protection significantly reduce the risk of pellets massing during logistics.

  • Outstanding performance as a polymer modifier across multiple conversion technologies.
