Organized under three global brands to improve transparency
As part of this harmonization, the PA6, PA66 and PBT portfolio is organized under three strong global brands:
DURETHAN® serves as Envalior’s global brand for PA6 compounds.
AKULON® serves as the global brand for PA66 compounds.
POCAN® serves as the global brand for PBT and PBT blend compounds.
In parallel, Envalior introduced a unified nomenclature for Durethan and Akulon materials, along with a distinct nomenclature structure for Pocan materials, further improving portfolio transparency and ease of material identification.
Does not involve product modification
The new brands and nomenclatures have been implemented in Envalior’s systems and documentation on February 1, 2026. To ensure continuity and clarity during the transition period, both the previous and new brand names and nomenclatures are displayed on documents through December 31, 2026. Envalior continues to accept orders using legacy brand names and nomenclatures until July 31, 2026, and from August 1, 2026 onward, only orders using the new brand names and nomenclatures will be accepted.
This harmonization represents an administrative change and does not involve modifications to the materials themselves. Product specifications, Certificates of Analysis, UL Yellow Cards, and Envalior material numbers remain unchanged, ensuring full technical and regulatory continuity for customers.
To support customers through the transition, Envalior provided a detailed cross-reference guide mapping old and new product names in a separate communication to customers.
With this harmonized approach, Envalior is making its product portfolio easier to navigate, delivering a more efficient and transparent experience for its customers. Envalior’s Sales and Customer Service teams remain available to provide support, and customers are encouraged to contact their regular Envalior representative with any questions.
