Eastman increases PETG prices in EMEA and APAC regions

Eastman is announcing a price increase on select PETG products in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions effective April 15, 2026, or as contracts allow. This increase is in addition to the announced on March 13th, 2026 that went into effect on April 1, 2026.

Scope for increase:
This increase will apply to PETG copolyesters branded as Spectar™, Eastar™, Drystar™, and Cadence™ grades sold in the Asia and EMEA regions, which are primarily produced in Eastman's Malaysia based facility. The increases are driven by increased cost and complexity of securing raw materials for Asia based production. Medical specific grades and applications will not be included in this increase.
Increase amount & effective date:
The amount of the increase is USD 0.25 per kilogram, adjusted to local currencies as applicable.
Orders shipping prior to April 15, 2026, will be invoiced at the current price. Orders shipping on or after April 15, 2026, will be invoiced at the new pricing.
