Strengthening capabilities across Asian markets

The company recently announced the construction of an Asia Application Development Center, alongside earlier investments in Haiyan and Mumbai. According to DOMO, the expansion is intended to strengthen its regional support capabilities across China, India, Southeast Asia, and other Asian markets, and to extend its portfolio of polyamide-based and other engineered materials.

DOMO’s strategy focuses on growth through innovation and diversification, based on advanced products and services. “We have significantly increased the level of services offered around our products. This includes advanced simulation capabilities and application testing supported by our Application Center. With this enhanced offering, we can accelerate customer development cycles, improve ‘first-time-right’ performance, and strengthen long-term partnerships,” said Ron Bult, general manager Asia at DOMO.

Sustainability remains part of the company’s material development approach. Through its TECHNYL® 4EARTH® range, DOMO offers recycled polyamide grades based on post-industrial and post-consumer waste. The company notes that these materials are also available with mass-balance ISCC+ certification in Asia and Europe.

Solutions from automotive to robotics and smart devices

In automotive applications, DOMO is focusing on materials addressing requirements such as flame retardancy, glycol resistance, and thermal management under its TECHNYL®, TECHNYL® PROTECT, and TECHNYL® RED product lines. At the exhibition, the company plans to introduce new TECHNYL® grades developed for Direct Long Fiber Thermoplastic (D-LFT) processing. A battery cover case produced using this technology will be displayed to illustrate processing and performance characteristics.

The company is also continuing development of lightweight material solutions through its TECHNYL STAR® and TECHNYL® MAX ranges. According to DOMO, these materials are being evaluated for applications in sectors such as robotics and low-altitude aircraft, where weight reduction and mechanical performance are key considerations.

In addition, DOMO is expanding its TECHNYL® ONE portfolio, which includes materials designed to combine mechanical strength, flame retardancy, and electrical performance. The company states that these materials are used in applications such as energy management systems and consumer electronics, including AR/VR devices and wearable products.

Low water absorption polyamides for water management

For water management applications, DOMO will present PA66- and PA6.10-based materials designed for low water absorption, dimensional stability, and chlorine resistance at lower temperatures. These materials are intended for use in domestic and industrial systems, including components in contact with drinking water.

The company also highlighted its capabilities in colored formulations, including recycled and bio-based options, as well as flame-retardant and light-color variants, for consumer goods applications.

According to DOMO, its ongoing material development and regional investments are aimed at supporting application-specific requirements across multiple industries.
