Hydroxytyrosol. HTEssence® by Wacker acts as an antioxidant. This nature-identical, free-radical scavenging agent can reduce skin aging and dark pigmentation. It can effectively increase glutathione levels within the cells leading to lighter skin pigmentation and the elimination of dark spots on the skin. It provides protection against the effects of damaging free radicals on the cells in your body, including the skin hence inhibits premature aging. HTEssence® is used in cosmetics and personal care formulations. Available as spray-dried powder with 20% hydroxytyrosol content and highly pure 98% hydroxytyrosol content in liquid form.
