WARADUR® E

Glycol Montanate. WARADUR® E by Voelpker acts as a gloss booster, surface improver and dispersing agent. It is made from a fossil derived from biological source. It is a hard ester wax with a crystalline structure, consisting of esters of montanic acids with multihydroxyl alcohols. These esters are mainly in the C58 – C66 carbon chain length. Provides low volatility, good thermostability and low migration rates. It does not contain any health- or environmental hazard component and is non-carcinogenic, non-mutagenic and non-reprotoxic, provided it is applied in industrial and professional settings. WARADUR® E is easy to saponify as well as emulsify and can be buffed to a high gloss. Also provides good paste- and dispersion forming properties with organic solvents. It is biodegradable and is used in cosmetics and personal care products. Compliant with RoHS, CONEG, FDA, SGS and is also listed in all national inventories. Also available in powder form.
