CETACENE

Acetylated Glycol Stearate. CETACENE by Vevy acts as an emollient. Possesses hair conditioning effect to after-shampoos and exceptional emollience to aqueous gels. Offers softness and excellent plasticity to creams, pomades and sticks. Exhibits a delicate non-greasy feeling to all finished products, particularly to skin oils (oleolites) and lotions, waterproof characteristics to oleogels, high stability to all finished products in case of sudden temperature changes (longer shelf life, no deformation in warm and cold climates). Provides uniform resistance to sticks (elasticity) and foam control in baby-shampoos. CETACENE is used in o/w and w/o emulsions, ointments, oils, lipsticks, oily gels, watery gels.
