Uni-Carbomer® 21

Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer. Uni-Carbomer® 21 by Uniproma Chemical is a hydrophobically modified cross-linked acrylic ester copolymer. It has thickening and suspending functionalities of carbomer resin.

• It self-wets and disperses quickly in minutes, providing a relatively high viscosity with smooth, short rheological properties, and efficient thickening performance over a wide pH range.
• It can also be used in systems with moderate surfactant levels, offering electrolyte resistance and a unique sensorial profile, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
• Uni-Carbomer® 21 forms transparent gels in hydroalcoholic systems, making it ideal for formulations with high oil content, plant-based ingredients, or hydroalcoholic gel structures.
• It is especially suited for antimicrobial gels, hand wash liquids, and alcohol-based sanitizing gels.
• It is recommended for products like body washes, lotions and creams.
• It has a shelf life of 24 months.
