Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol (and) Decyl Glucoside (and) Propylene Glycol (and) Xanthan Gum (and) Aqua. Sunsafe® BOT by Uniproma Chemical is a broad-spectrum UVA and UVB filter. It is a hybrid type sun blocking agent acting as both chemical and physical sunscreen. It exhibits UV absorption due to the intrinsic photostable organic molecule, light scattering and reflection as a result of its microfine structure. It is 50% aqueous dispersion of colorless microfine organic particles, which are less than 200 ppm in size and is dispersible in the water phase of an emulsion.
  • It increases the photostability of other UV-absorbers.
  • It shows excellent compatibility with cosmetic ingredients.
  • It can be post-added to emulsions and is therefore suitable for cold process formulations.
  • Sunsafe® BOT is used in make-up and skin lightening products, sunscreen lotions, creams, sprays and sticks.
  • It has a shelf life of 2 years.
