Acrylates Copolymer. Acts as a rheology modifier and co-emulsifier. It is an alkali-swellable anionic acrylic polymer emulsion (ASE) that is lightly crosslinked. It is excellent at suspending silicone, zinc pyrithione, powder, and other insoluble ingredients and applicable for transparent system. It is a cold process product that thickens upon neutralization. It compatible with peroxide and other oxidizing agents, electrolytes, polar solvents, and zinc pyrithione. Used in conditioning shampoo, anti-dandruff shampoo, clear & moisturizing body wash and other cleansers, foundation cream/lotion, sunscreen cream/lotion & hair dye.
