Dimethicone. Acts as an emollient. It is a silicone gum blend which provides lubrication, manageability, dry feeling, repairing, spreading shine, combing (wet), smoothness and softness. It is long-lasting, substantive, non-occlusive, non-tacky and gets quickly absorbed. It also modifies rheology of product in antiperspirants and deodorant applications. Also used in skin care, color cosmetics, hair care and styling products, shaving and shower products.
