Dimethicone. Acts as an emollient. It is a silicone gum blend which provides lubrication, manageability, dry feeling, repairing, spreading shine, combing (wet), smoothness and softness. It is long-lasting, substantive, non-occlusive, and water resistant. It also modifies rheology of product in antiperspirants and deodorant applications. Also used in skin care, color cosmetics, hair care and styling products, shaving and shower products.
