Panthenyl Hydroxypropyl Steardimonium Chloride. Acts as a thickening agent and foam booster. It is a quaternized derivative of DL-Panthenol(provitaminB5). It can penetrate the Stratum Corneum and hair easily, and be deoxidized to a vitamin at once via enzymes to maintain softness and luster. It has better absorption and conditioning than DL-Panthenol. With the nourishing and moisture retention functions of DL-Panthenol, it improves anti-static ability, hair glossiness and softness. It is compatible with all kinds of surfactants. Used in shampoo, conditioner, facial cleanser and styling products.
