Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride. Acts as a film former, thickening and anti-static agent. It is a quaternized derivative from natural guar gum. It can form a free breathing film on hair and skin while generating good protection, moisturization, conditioning, and lubrication. Possesses affinity to keratin and reduces irritation caused by surfactants. Improves dry and web combing, imparts glossiness, silkiness and manageability. Compatible with anionic, cationic, non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants. Used in 2-in-1 shampoo, hair conditioner, hair treatment, hand soap, body wash, facial cleanser, skin lotion and creams.
