Meadowfoam® Wax

Hydrogenated Meadowfoam Seed Oil (100%). Meadowfoam® Wax by The Innovation Company acts as a dermal filler, emollient, gas carrier and anti-aging agent. It is vegetable oil extracted by a cold process (hexane free) from the seeds of the Limnanthes Alba plant. It contains naturally occurring antioxidant, tocopherol and high content of omega-9 (essential fatty acids) & vitamin E. It offers anti-inflammatory properties and reduces skin redness & microcirculation. It is strongly photostable because it possesses high level of oxidative stability. It is slightly film forming, giving efficacy on skin hydration and TEWL reduction. It leaves substantial residue on the skin and is non-tacky or sticky. It offers soothing and improves skin softness. Moreover, it is used as a base for various anhydrous treatment products in which oil soluble ingredients are added. Meadowfoam® Wax is suitable for color cosmetics and sun-, skin- & hair care products.
