Meadowfoam Delta-Lactone (100%). Lactone MSO by The Innovation Company acts as a dermal filler, gas carrier, wax and anti-aging agent. It is the reaction product obtained by condensation of fatty acids derived from meadowfoam seed oil consisting primarily of delta-lactone. It is water or oil soluble depending on the pH. It exhibits rich texture and strong hydration capacity. It contains naturally occurring antioxidant, tocopherol. It offers soothing and anti-inflammatory effects. It improves skin softness and reduces skin redness & microcirculation. It is slightly film forming, giving efficacy on skin hydration and TEWL reduction. It can be processed in high or low temperatures. Lactone MSO is suitable for long lasting lipsticks, color cosmetics and sun-, skin- & hair care products.
