Its composition is similar to human sebum. It enhances skin hydration and repair. It has the ability to emulsify water that diffuses from the dermis across the epidermis and holds it in the keratinized epidermal cells. Creasterol® finds application in formulation of skin-, sun- and color care products. It is listed with IECSC, IECIC, EINECS/ELINCS, NZloC, ENCS, KECI, PICCS, AICS and DSL. The minimum shelf life is 3 years.
