Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer (and) PEG-26–PPG-30 Phosphate. Acts as a colorant, volumizing additive and soft focus agent. It is a spherical composite material, in which colorants have been encapsulated into a polymer structure. Available in various colors. It offers many advantages in comparison with conventional pigments. Possesses excellent wetting properties and it is easy to disperse. It offers ease of application due to the spherical shape and exhibits volumizing effect & light diffusing property due to the size and shape of the sphere. It gives an even application and an illusion of smooth skin. Functions as a thickener and rheology modifier in addition to give the mascara base some structure. It modifies the film forming properties of the formulation, improving the wear and performance. It hinders the feathering of lipsticks & offers soft and smooth application. Suitable for all color care applications from foundations and powders to mascaras and lip glosses.
