MaizeThix™

Corn Starch Modified. MaizeThix™ by The Herbarie acts as a non-ionic thickening agent. It is based on cornstarch and builds viscosity to thicken surfactant systems. It functions well in neutral to mildly acidic systems and is tolerant of low pH & salt. Moreover, it imparts silky feel in rinse-off formulations and does not compromise foam quality. It is easy to disperse in water at room temperature and does not develop fisheyes. MaizeThix™ finds application in formulating shampoos, body washes, facial cleansers and other surfactant-based systems. Complies with GRAS.
