Behenyl Olivate. Acts as a gelling agent and film former. This natural ester is derived from olive oil which is highly emollient in nature. Improves skin suppleness and conditioning properties of hair. Enhances stabilizing properties of the oil-in-water emulsions. It imparts a soft, silky cushion feel on the skin, while enhancing the film integrity of the formulation and the skin’s moisturizing properties. It makes an excellent alternative to the traditional wax products. Ideal for use in o/w emulsions as well as anhydrous formulations. Used in lip care, pomades, hair creams, sun care, body moisturizer and mascaras.
