Symcool® WS-12 by Symrise acts as a cooling agent. It is a virtually nonvolatile, odorless and tasteless menthol derivative. It is used in mint flavors in oral care applications. It offers a significantly longer lasting effect as compared to conventional coolants such as Symcool® WS-3, WS-5 and WS-23.
- It can be used at low levels to provide freshness into berry, citrus and other fruit flavors in a variety of applications.
- Symcool® WS-12 meets the requirements of the Food Safety System Certification 22000.
