Rheozan® BLC

Rheozan® BLC by Syensqo is a biodegradable, suspension and rheology agent. This natural and ready to use polymer is derived from gray biotechnology. It is based on starch fermentation. It delivers high suspension properties without impacting the formulation’s viscosity. It can suspend and stabilize visual cues such as pigments, natural exfoliating particles, perfume capsules, air bubbles, opacifier or emulsion, and insoluble agents such as zinc pyrithione or minerals. This innovative & flexible ingredient offers excellent sustainability credentials. It creates a three-dimensional network of insoluble cellulose fibers that can stabilize the dispersion of particulate matter at low inclusion levels. It improves compatibility and is easily soluble & stable across a wide range of pH. Rheozan® BLC is used in hand- & body wash, hand soap, shampoos and skin-, personal- & hair care products.
