Ascorbyl Isostearate. It is the oil resoluble derivative of the vitamin C. Inhibits the generation of melanin as well as blocks up the oxidizing chain in the course of melanin generation and thus reduces the melanin. It accelerates the synthesis of collagen and scavenges the free oxygen radicals. It inhibits the oxidation of lipid, and has the function of anti-aging. Possesses good resistance to acid and heat. It can be dissolved in various oily compounds.
