Pentafluoropropane. Asensa® DS 826 by Solstice Advanced Materials acts as a cooling agent. It is an eco-friendly and skin friendly product. Also a low boiling point hydrofluorocarbon that cools through an evaporative process on skin. Asensa® DS 826 offers advantages over existing cooling technologies like hydrocarbons which are flammable and have an unpleasant odor and alcohols which are also flammable and are well known for drying the skin.
