Mangalidone®

Manganese PCA. Mangalidone® by Solabia acts as an antioxidant. It is the manganese salt of L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid (L-PCA) which is obtained by the cyclization of L-glutamic acid, an amino acid of vegetal origin. It provides physiological intake of bioavailable manganese to protect the skin against oxidative stress by the reinforcement of skin’s natural anti-radical defense mechanisms with a double effect – preventive and curative. It stimulates the skin’s basal concentration of MnSOD, in the absence of aggression and can effectively combat free radicals in case of UV aggression, by boosting the skin’s defensive response and hence insures cellular longevity. It does not contain any preservatives. Mangalidone® is suggested for skin care applications. It is approved by ECOCERT GREENLIFE according to the Ecocert Standard for natural and organic cosmetics.
