Glycerin (and) Capsicum Annuum Fruit Extract (and) Xanthan Gum. BlueShield® by Solabia is an active ingredient rich in capsanthin and capsanthin esters, specific and highly effective carotenoids. It is obtained from cold pressing of red bell peppers and stabilized with vegetable glycerin and xanthan gum. Preservatives used are sodium benzoate (0.5%) and sodium salicylate (0.3%). It is an effective antioxidant agent, protecting cellular DNA and collagen from oxidation and degradation as well as an anti-stress and protective agent due to its filtering power. By preserving the vital functions of the skin in relation to DNA, the ExtraCellular Matrix and phototransduction, BlueShield ® helps prevent digital pollution-induced aging. It is used in skin- and sun care. It is approved by ECOCERT GREENLIFE, according to the COSMOS standard.
