Silwax® WD-IS

Dimethicone PEG-7 Isostearate. Silwax® WD-IS by Siltech is a good emulsifier in creams and lotions. This grade is 100% active fatty silicone compound which is self-emulsifying in water and dispersible in many solvents. It is highly lubricious when applied to fiber, hair or skin. It remains substantive to provide excellent conditioning properties without build-up associated with 2-in-1 formulas. It is especially good on treated hair that requires special care. Silwax® WD-IS is compatible with other surfactants and does not effect foam or detergency in shampoo formulas. The shelf life of the product is 36 months when stored in the original and unopened containers between 10 and 40°C.
