Cetyl Dimethicone. Silwax® H416 by Siltech is a lubricant. It is liquid alkylated silicone. The alkyl pendant groups make it more compatible with many organic systems. It provides gloss, barrier properties and softness to personal care products. It offers excellent emmoliency properties. It is suitable for skin care and AP products. It is recommended for cleansers (foaming), augment moisturizers, lotions, cosmetics, antiperspirant and deodorant. Silwax® H416 has a shelf life of 36 months when stored in the original, unopened containers between 10 and 40°C.
