Polygonum multiflorum Root Extract (and) Butylene Glycol (and) Water. Gerbex® Polygonum by Shanghai JAKA Biotech exhibits anti-aging, anti-photoaging and antioxidative effects. It is a herbal extract liquid with the main active component stilbene glycoside. It can reduce the disorder of skin collagen synthesis & degradation and can significantly scavenge free radicals. It can also down-regulate the insulin/IGF-1 signaling pathway and up-regulate the expression of SIRT1. It can enhance the activity of SOD, meanwhile resisting the lipid peroxidation induced by UVB. It is a preservative and pesticide-free product. Gerbex® Polygonum can improve the activity of SOD and catalase.
